Piola Restaurant
The place formerly designated as a greenhouse is the setting in which the Hotel Convento del Giraldo offers a top-notch culinary experience. This is the Piola restaurant, located in a building adjacent to the hotel but accessed from inside the establishment. There, we can admire a huge Piola uncovered during the rehabilitation works, which with almost four meters deep and over thirty cubic meters of volume, was used to store water in the Middle Ages.

Located in the old stables of the Palace, now Hotel Leonor de Aquitania, in a space completely carved in stone, we find the Tempo Bar & Grill restaurant, in the heart of the historic center of the capital of Cuenca, with access from San Pedro street or from Ronda de Julián Romero.
The Tempo Bar & Grill presents a traditional cuisine from La Mancha, prepared with excellent products from the region, fresh and seasonal, with careful and natural preparation, to which we add modernity and innovation. Stand out for its presentations of meats and game dishes, and an exquisite tasting menu.

Our third gastronomic option for your stay in Cuenca. In the morning, we offer you an exquisite buffet breakfast with a wide variety of cold and hot dishes, juices, coffee, teas, and, of course, freshly baked pastries.
At noon and in the evening, the kitchen of our establishment, located in the Hotel Cueva del Fraile, offers you the opportunity to discover typical Castilian-Manchego cuisine: game meats, traditional stews (such as “ajo arriero,” “morteruelo” or “pisto manchego”) are the basis of our menu that will delight any palate. After satisfying your stomach, we invite you to taste the liquors from our land (resoli, aguardiente…).
